MusicalHeatwave is the award winning showcase that regularly salute and celebrate our Reggae Heroes such as Gregory Isaacs,Sugar Minott,BB Seaton Ken Boothe John Holt, plus profiles on Mikey Dread Glen Adams, Dean Fraser , Tarrus Riley,Beres Hammond Big Youth and other luminaries from the world of reggae.
The show is put together by Presenter/Producer and Journalist Norman Gentles aka Norman G and DJ Ranks . Norman a one time regular entertainment writer for the Jamaica Gleaner UK, a presenter for BVTV – The Profile series – for ten years and started out as presenter of The Musicalheatwave Radio Show on Spectrum Radio – UK’s first multicultural radio station – for the past twelve years.
DJ Ranks Heatwave is a sound system operator mixer/record producer is the second producer/editor on the show. He also presents The MUSICALHEATWAVE on OMEGA FM in London and online at MusicalHeatWave The Musical Heatwave mainly showcase musical talents across the African Caribbean world as well as reporting on key events associated with the business of music, such a Midem – world network music market held yearly in Cannes France.
Musicalheatwave recently covered the show hosted by Jamaica the biggest musical showcase at the event., SKA INTERNATIONAL Festival One LOVE SHOWCASE/MaxPower car show – the best in car audios, St Lucia Jazz Festival and Award ceremonies.

The recent Blue Plaque unveiling in the UK honouring Bob Marley/ Dennis Brown was an important event that was covered in depth by Musicalheatwave. Musical Heatwave on radio since the 1980’s and appeared on TV in 1990 first of its kind in the UK at that time .Musicalheatwave holds itself to higher production standards -Started out on BEN TV SKY NETWORK, Europe’s biggest black satellite TV station.
